The organizing committee is honored to invite you to participate in the 1st Meeting of Green Chemistry in the Amazon, whose theme brings two subjects of great relevance today: Bioeconomy and Sustainability. the potential of Amazonian inputs and residues for the development of sustainable research and biobusiness.
The meeting will take place on December 7th at 8:30 am, in the Arlindo Pinto Auditorium of the Institute of Biological Sciences at UFPa. A unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students, don't miss out!

RAFAEL LUQUE
Lecture: Bio/chemical processes for valuing biomass and waste in the context of bioeconomy
Professor at the University of Córdoba in Spain, member of the editorial board of several prestigious journals and editor-in-chief of the Molecular Catalysis journal of ELSEVIER, Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics in the field of chemistry in the years 2019-2022. And co-founder of Starbon Technologies Ltd. In the UK, Green Applied Solutions SLU in Spain and Heihua Biotechnotic Ltd. in China.

ROBERTO ESPOSITO
Lecture: Homogeneous catalysis in sustainable conversion of biomass.
Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemical Sciences at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (Italy).
It operates in the development of processes for application in the conversion of biomass into products with high added value through homogeneous catalysis and in the investigation of bioderived products to replace products of fossil origin. It is a founding member of the Italian company ISusChem Srl which produces innovative solvents and chemicals derived from biomass and waste.

GEORGIANE TITAN
Lecture: The Potential of Biobusinesses in the Amazon.
Coordinator of Bioeconomy projects and SEBRAE-PA segments, Chemical and Environmental Engineer, Specialist in Oleochemistry, Environmental Management and Small Business Management. Master in Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer.
